The environment and surroundings in this country are mainly stony desert land fused with highland areas.

There are five distinct regions within this country, in addition to the capital city of Djibouti. This is a poor country where inhabitants have faced severe poverty and food shortages. The majority of the inhabitants of Djibouti can be found in its capital city. The culture in this country is varied and diverse, with the main languages spoken being French and Arabic. You will find a fusion of Arabic, African, and European influences here.

The climate in this country is hot and dry, as would be expected with the desert like environment and surroundings. This is a country that has managed to secure foreign assistance over the years because of its important location as a gateway to the Red Sea.
