This tourist attraction was commented on by Laura from Ireland on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009"Would highly recommend if visiting Venice that you base yourself on The Lido as opposed to Venice itself. The Lido is a small island which takes about 5 minutes by boat to reach from Venice. The hotels and restaurants are a lot cheaper on the Lido and it's nice to return to after after a days sightseeing." |
