I enjoyed my stay at Columbus Studios. For a hostel, it was very clean. I had no troubles getting access to the bathroom and the location was great. There were 3 of us traveling together and we did not have to share the room with anyone else and there was a sink in the room. Again, for a hostel, this is a rare commodity.

It is in a nice part of New York a few blocks from Central Park. The staff are nice but the inside is horrible, dirty and too old. I was there in 2005 so I do not know if they have renovated. I hope they did.
