If my wife and I make a return visit to Stockholm, the Clarion would be our hotel choice. We have visited several cities since our stay there and we still use it as a benchmark for comparing standards. We could not fault any service in the Clarion. We arrived very late and were well looked after by the night staff. The rooms was very good, with a nice view. The breakfast choice was the best we have experienced in any hotel. The Foyer is very different, built over the road and sloping and with a very impressive water feature and some interesting furniture, Even though it is almost three years since we stayed there we clearly remember its many good features. We used the restaurant on most evening during our week there and were never dissappointed. The location, so close to the metro and to very nice waterside walks and interesting parts of the island added to our satisfaction while staying there and to our enjoyment of Stockholm.
