Saudi Arabia Tourist Guide From Discount Hotels

With its beautiful desert oases, dramatic mountain peaks and beaches, you will no doubt have the vacation of a lifetime in Saudi Arabia. There is no nightlife or alcohol because of the Islamic nature of the country, but there are many cafes and restaurants where you can experience the cuisine of the country. There are also many western restaraunts, such as Dairy Queen and McDonalds. Since this country is believed to be the birthplace of Mohammed, it contains the holiest cities of Islam. The best time to visit this country is during April and May and during October and November when the temperatures during the day and night are moderate.

When you visit Bahrain, one of your first sights will be that of a 16th century fort because it is so close to the airport. In this city, you have to visit the Souq and experience the colorful sights and sounds of the bustling market. Obtain 21 carat gold items at the Gold Souq or have clothing made just for you at the Cloth Souq. Stare in awe at the ornate ceilings and stained glass windows of Siyadi House. The Al-Khamis Mosque is one of the oldest relics of Islam in this region believed to date back to the 7th century. Explore the archaeological site of the Barbar Temple and see the exhibits on display in the Museum of Pearl Diving.

Opportunities for outdoor activities abound, such as horseback riding, golf and diving for pearls. Al Aareen Wildlife Park and Reserve is an exceptional opportunity to see the wildlife of this country and the Bahrain Islands are a real haven for wildlife. There are also several malls where you can buy both luxury goods and handicrafts of the country.
