Llangefni is the county town of Anglesey, an island off Wales, and is the largest town on the island. There are also extensive gardens that are open all year long for everyone to enjoy. The Anglesey Sea Zoo, which is also in the same town, is the largest zoo in Wales. Children will enjoy seeing the more than 150 marine species that include sea horses, octopuses and sharks. Along with these sights, the zoo is located along the banks of Menai Strait and you have an excellent view of Snowdonia National Park.
Other attractions within a ten mile radius of Llangefni include Caernarfon Castle, built in the 12th century and the Segontium Roman Fort that dates back to the 1st century.
